When the world feels like it’s falling apart, Revelation 1 reminds us where to look: not at the chaos around us, but at the glory of Christ among us. This past Sunday, Pastor Dave opened our new series in Revelation by reminding us that the book doesn’t begin with beasts or battles—it begins with Jesus. Present. Glorious. Gracious. And He holds the keys. If all you have is Jesus, and all that remains is His glory—then you have everything.

On this Pentecost Sunday, we explored Romans 8:14-17 to see Pentecost not as an origin story but an identity shift. It is a call to us to not just receive the Spirit, but to follow the Spirit and live into the mission we’ve been entrusted: to carry the Gospel adn proclaim the goodness of Jesus.

On Mothers’ Day we studied 1 Corinthians 11:2-16 and heard how Paul isn’t silencing women—he’s honoring them. In a culture of shame, the gospel restores dignity. In a church divided by roles, Christ calls us to worship side by side. This passage isn’t about hierarchy. It’s about glory.

Easter isn’t the end of the story — it’s the moment the whole story has been leading to. From the garden to the cross to the empty tomb, God's crimson thread of redemption has never broken. Today, we hold that thread in our hands and in our hearts, remembering that the resurrection invites us not just to celebrate, but to carry the story forward into a world still longing for hope.

This week we began our Lenten journey, exploring what it means to follow the Heart of the King in our new series through Luke’s journey to Jerusalem, and tot he empty tomb. As Jesus resolutely set out for Jerusalem, He called His followers to radical surrender—not comfort. Where is Jesus leading you this season? Let’s walk the road to the cross together.
